Goal setting can seem to be counter intuitive at times. Many of us have New Years resolutions that we usually break within a short amount of time. Some of us tend to give up setting new years resolutions so we don't have to feel bad for not doing them. Very smart and very normal. Who wants pain?

We seem to even set goals or even pretend to set goals to appear like we are going somewhere in our lives even if we aren't.
